Understanding the payment process is an important step toward getting paid by your customers. When a customer pays, they can choose to pay for their order using any of the methods that you've enabled in the Payment Types area of Cleantie. You can enable a variety of payment methods using Cleantie.
There are a few different things to consider when you're choosing which payment methods to offer. If you want to let your customers pay using a credit card, then you can use Cleantie supported third-party provider.
At the moment we only support Verifone Payware connect and Verifone Point Services. Stripe payment is being integrated. Stripe is the easiest way to support Apple Pay, which enables frictionless credit card payments and eliminates the need to manually type card or shipping details. Your customers authorize payments with Touch ID.
You manage all your store's payment methods in the Payments area of Cleantie
All Cleantie-supported payment methods rely on third-party providers to process your transactions. These providers might charge extra fees. When you set up a payment method, check with the company providing the service to make sure you understand their rules and fees.
When you set up a payment provider to accept credit card payments, each payment must be processed, so there is usually a delay between when the customer pays for their order and when you receive the payment. After the payment is processed, the invoice amount will be transferred to your bank account.
Use your own merchant account or get the merchant account through CSI merchant services to save money on payware connect hosting fee.
Cleantie is validated with Paymentech, First Data North (CardNet); Elavon; and Heartland. Please note First Data Nashville platform is not supported, only First Data North.
